Overview
Careward exists to help procedure practices follow up with patients between the visit and resolution. This policy describes uses that are not permitted on the platform. Violations may result in suspension or termination of the account.
Practices may NOT use Careward to:
- Send messages to patients that are unrelated to post-procedure patient care.
- Solicit patients for services unrelated to their current care episode.
- Use the AI to simulate a licensed clinician providing medical advice.
- Enroll patients without their consent to receive SMS communications.
- Bypass escalation routing to prevent clinical concerns from reaching a human reviewer.
- Share account access credentials across team members who have not been approved by the practice admin.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or programmatically exfiltrate content from the platform.
- Use Careward in any way that violates HIPAA, patient privacy laws, or applicable telehealth regulations.
